Also known as Muscat de Frontignan, Muscat d'AIsace, Moscato d'Asti, etc. It was much appreciated by the Greeks and Romans and should not be mistaken for Moscatel de Alejandria, of larger grapes and lacking the subtle orange aromas that characterises Moscatel de Grano Menudo. We make exquisite sweet Moscatel with this variety, but it also forms part of elegant dry whites and the very aromatic Viña Esmeralda.
