It is cultivated in our Upper Penedès vineyards, on the banks of the Guaiquillo River in Chile, and is the queen of our Fransola estate. It is now being planted more and more widely in most countries.
It has small berries, with a pretty golden colour, thick pith and
a slightly musky flavour. Its wines are elegant, well structured and
carry good fruity acidity wih a noble aromatic complexity: valerian,
blackcurrant flowers, musk, delicate vegetal hints reminiscent of
asparagus, etc… |
